In 2011, I started a blog (LANASEZ.COM) focused on indie rap music and underground hip hop culture. Since then, I've gone to so many shows that I've lost count, I've interviewed several rappers and producers and I've enjoyed befriending and connecting music listeners from all over through Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram.
I'm a huge proponent of the Indie/DIY movement and all things underground. While the social media platforms I just mentioned have helped me make so many valuable connections, I envision an online space where the people in my "community" can get together and have real discussions that aren't limited to 140 characters or a few comments on a photo. With the Lana Sez Music Forum, I am looking to strengthen the value, power and reach of my network for the benefit of everyone who wishes to get involved. I want us to educate each other, support each other and do business with each other. Whether you'd like to network, find people to collaborate with, get advice or just discuss music, this is where thoughts and ideas can flow freely. While I will be the administrator and moderator of this forum, it is what you make it! I'm depending on people like you to help me build this into something great.
